The Gigwell alternative built for independent agencies

Free forever to start. No card, no trial clock β€” because we don't have one to run out.

Get started free β€” no card required

Gigwell is a solid product, but it's built for agencies with bigger budgets. Their Agency plan starts at $119/month for a single user and jumps to $340/month the moment you add a team of four β€” and that's before the one-time $99 setup fee Gigwell charges on monthly billing. There's no self-serve free trial either; you commit before you can properly test it.

Digitainment starts free β€” genuinely free, not a trial, no card required. When you're ready to grow, Pro is €59.99/month and already includes three team seats plus your own admin login. Add more people at €10/month each, not a steep per-seat curve. Built by people running an actual booking agency, for agencies that need real tools without enterprise pricing.

At 4 users, Gigwell's Agency plan costs 467% more than Digitainment's Pro plan β€” and Pro already includes your first three team seats.

Digitainment prices in EUR, Gigwell prices in USD, shown as published β€” not currency-converted. Gigwell pricing sourced directly from gigwell.com, verified 1 August 2026. See Gigwell's site for current rates.

Add a 5th person to a Gigwell Agency plan and you're back on their per-user slider, climbing steadily toward $700/month at 10 users. Add a 5th person to Digitainment Pro and it's €10/month more. We don't punish you for growing.

At 10 users, Gigwell's Agency plan β€” which bundles Tour IQ Unlimited β€” costs $700/month. Gigwell also sells Tour IQ Unlimited separately for $199/month at 10 users. Stack that against Digitainment Pro at 10 users (€119.99/month) and the combined total is still less than half what Gigwell's own bundled Agency plan costs alone β€” using Gigwell's own published prices for both pieces.

Live portals, not static documents.

Most booking platforms generate documents β€” itineraries, confirmations, contracts β€” and send them as PDFs or emails. The moment they're sent, they're out of date. Change the soundcheck time, swap a venue contact, update the deal? Now you're sending a "v2" attachment and hoping everyone reads it.

Digitainment gives every promoter and every band their own live portal β€” one link per show for the promoter, one for the band. They always see the latest version: deal terms, contracts, venue logistics, settlements. When you update something on your end, they see it immediately. No version chains, no outdated PDFs.

Bands get a comments thread built into their portal β€” quick questions, last-minute changes, soundcheck times, handled directly in context instead of buried in an email chain.

Works in your team's language.

Most booking platforms assume everyone on your team speaks English. Gigwell is English-only. Digitainment runs in eight languages β€” English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Swedish β€” and it's the working platform that translates, not just the brochure: contracts, invoicing, documents, billing, the dashboard your team lives in every day. Your junior booker, your finance person, your festival contact in Milan or Copenhagen β€” each works in the language they think in, on the same shared data. Built in Europe, for the way European agencies actually staff their teams.

Switch the flag in the menu above β€” this page too.

Invoicing that fits how you actually get paid.

Most platforms assume the agency collects everything. Digitainment supports three invoicing flows on the same show:

Flow A
Agency bills the promoter

Standard agency-collected deal. Your invoice, your tax rules.

Flow B
Band bills the promoter directly

The band's own invoice with band branding. Money goes band to promoter; the agency never touches it.

Flow C
Agency bills the band for commission

Your commission invoice, separate from what the band collected from the promoter.

Whether the agency collects, the band collects, or both β€” tax follows whoever issues each invoice. Gigwell is built around agency-collected billing only.

What you might miss from Gigwell

Gigwell's Tour IQ is the bigger, more global tool here β€” tens of thousands of venues across 163 countries, plus buyer contact data and announced-show calendars. It's genuinely useful if you're touring outside Europe or need buyer contacts baked into venue search. Digitainment's catalog is Europe-focused (1,200+ venues) and doesn't include contact data or show calendars β€” but capacity and radius filtering come built into your everyday Venues and Tour Planning workflow at no extra cost, where Tour IQ is a separately-priced add-on on top of Gigwell's Agency plan.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Digitainment really cheaper than Gigwell?

Yes, at every team size we compared. At 4 users β€” a typical small agency β€” Gigwell's Agency plan costs 467% more than Digitainment Pro, verified directly against Gigwell's own pricing page.

Can my team use Digitainment in a language other than English?

Yes. Digitainment runs in eight languages β€” English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Swedish β€” and the working platform translates, not just the marketing pages: contracts, invoicing, documents, billing and the dashboard your team uses daily. Each person can pick their own language. Gigwell's platform is English-only.

Does Digitainment have a venue database like Gigwell's Tour IQ?

Yes, with real capacity and radius filtering β€” built into the Venues page and Tour Planning, included in Starter and Pro at no extra cost. Our catalog is curated and Europe-focused (1,200+ venues), whereas Tour IQ is bigger and more global (~65,000 venues, buyer contact data, show calendars) but sold separately from Gigwell's core plan, starting around $33/month. If you need Tour IQ's scale and contact data, that's still its strength; if you want capacity/radius filtering without paying extra, that's now standard here.

How does Digitainment handle venue search?

Digitainment finds venues through Google Places, so any legitimate, publicly listed venue appears when you search or add one. AI venue research can then suggest capacity, contacts, website links and technical specs from public sources when they're published online β€” you review and apply what fits. Once venues are in your catalogue, you can filter by radius from a city and by capacity β€” for example, venues with at least 300 seats within 25 km β€” on the Venues page and in Tour Planning, included in Starter and Pro at no extra cost.

Can I move my existing contacts over from Gigwell?

Contacts import via CSV. There's no direct Gigwell-to-Digitainment migration tool today.

Does Digitainment charge setup fees?

No. Gigwell charges a one-time $99 setup fee on monthly billing.

Is there a free trial?

Not in the traditional sense β€” Digitainment has a permanent free tier instead. No card required, no countdown clock.

Where is my data hosted?

On EU-based infrastructure (Germany). Gigwell is US-hosted.
